My husband Don and I stayed at the hotel for the night and just wanted to say we immensely enjoyed it. If you want you and your family to experience a highly immersive, inclusive and intriguing Halloween event, the Jefferson Palace Hotel offers a fun and memorable experience. The guests can volunteer to assist in the haunted house right from the comfort of your own room! We plan on making this a yearly tradition! The hotel is beautifully quaint, eclectic and is steeped in mysterious history. I could walk the halls alone for hours just studying the artifacts and collective items they display. All of the items allude to the paranormal, unusual and haunted history of Jefferson. We stayed in the Nautical Room. The bed was so comfortable my husband actually slept all night! We appreciated the simple check in and out process also. We will definitely be back. Even with rain and an ongoing Haunted House, and a small party after, the hotel was overall peaceful, comfortable and inviting. Thank you to the owners!

My daughter and I booked Room 8 for one night, not really knowing what to expect. This hotel did not disappoint. I only wish I had booked additional nights during our stay in Jefferson, but we will definitely be returning. The booking process, check-in, and check-out were all seamless and thoroughly explained. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and Jeromy was kind enough to spend time with us sharing his knowledge of the hotel, including some paranormal experiences and the more active rooms. We truly appreciated his time and insight. We mentioned to him that while upstairs near the artifacts by Room 19, we heard a woman’s voice say “hello.” After reviewing cameras, unfortunately the voice was not captured on video; however, we did capture it on a voice recorder in our room. We plan to download and review the footage once we’re home. You can clearly hear me speaking at a distance from the recorder, and as soon as I stop talking, a woman’s voice says “okay,” almost simultaneously with my daughter—yet it is distinctly not either of us. The video will also show our placement, confirming there’s no way our voices would have sounded that close or similar. We’re excited to review everything on a larger screen and share our findings. Highly recommend this hotel—whether you’re visiting for history, hospitality, or the paranormal experience. Looking forward to our next visit!

Pictures don’t do it justice! Apart from the alleged hauntings, the building is so interesting and there’s so much to see!!! Bed was surprisingly comfy and warm. Owner is SO kind and friendly. And it’s a super walkable area.

We came for my birthday for the night and had the best experience! We absolutely loved this unique, quirky, spooky hotel! The staff was SO friendly and everything is just so neat! My kids and my husband are already nonstop talking about which room they want to stay in next time we come! Such a great time and so much to look at!

This place is amazing! My boyfriend has stayed here a couple of times previously and he is in love with it. I was finally able to go this last weekend and it was such a great experience! The owners are amazing people they are so kind, fun and welcoming! The rooms are so cool and unique and the ghost hunt was so interesting and spooky (I can’t wait to do it again!). I love the historical aspects of this hotel, the ghost stories and everything the owners are doing with this place now! As a fan of unique things and everything spooky this is a place I loved spending the weekend in (and I’m sure many more)! We stayed in two different themed rooms, the Boggy Creek room and Pride House room. The Boggy Creek room was so cool and unique and the Pride House room was really comfortable and historically interesting. I really could go on and on about how much I loved this place and the people there. The hotel is in a really cool area and within walking distance to a bunch of food places, antique stores and other cool shops! There is a lot of history, ghost stories, and really cool people in Jefferson Texas and if you haven’t been, make it your next trip! I feel there is still so much at the Jefferson Palace Hotel left to see and experience and I cannot wait to go back in October! :)

My friend, sister, and myself had the pleasure of staying a night in the Jefferson Hotel. From the moment we started the process of booking a room, the owners had excellent customer service, and their hospitality is unmatchable. From giving an in depth tour with history of not only the Hotel, but the original house that had burned in a fire. We had mentioned we wanted to do a ghost hunt; and they happily allowed us to. On top of everything they had already done, the owners, Jeromy and his wife, just to ensure we had an amazing experience ourselves, allowed us to do an investigation throughout the hotel throughout the evening into the early morning hours. Truly an experience we will never forget! A must for any ghost, or even antique enthusiasts!
